Francisco Dias

Francisco holds a PhD degree in Tourism Science from the University of Perpignan, France. He is Associate Professor of the School of Tourism and Maritime Technology at IPLeiria – the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (Portugal), and member of GITUR – Tourism Research Unit of IPLeiria. As Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Tourism, Hospitality and Recreation, he has contributed to the improvement of tourism research networking. As visiting professor, he collaborates in the post-graduation in Branding & Business at the University College of UNIVATES, in Lajeado, Brazil. He is also director of the International Tourism Film Festival, and chairman of the International Conference on Cinema and Tourism. His research interests are vast, ranging from the field of tourism branding and film tourism to research methodology and epistemology of tourism sciences. He is the President of the EATSA – Euro-Asia Tourism Studies Association.

Isabel Marques

PHD in Tourism, from the University of Perpignan, France. Assistant Professor at Lusófona University of Porto, Faculty of Economics, Social Sciences and Business. Director of the degree in Tourism and Management, as well as Master in Tourism Management at the Lusófona University of Porto. 
Research associate of CEPESE – Population, Economy and Society Studies Center, University of Porto. Research Group Coordinator on Heritage, Culture and Tourism of Northern Portugal. Member of the scientific committee executive of the International conference “Porto as Tourism Destination”, organized under the Tourism Research Group in Northern Portugal (CEPESE). Editorial Advisory Board Member of the Magazine EJTHR of Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. 
Founding Partner and Vice President of APTUR – Portuguese Association of Tourismology. Executive Director of the International Tourism Film Festival – ART&TUR.  
Her main studies and publications are based on themes of Intangible Heritage, Identity, Culture and Tourism, through the impact of audiovisual media in the construction/promotion of Destination Brand. 

LucĂ­lia Cardoso

PHD in Tourism Management and Planning from the University of Vigo, Spain. Professor at Lusófona University in Porto, Faculty of Economics, Social Sciences and Business, in Licentiate and Master degrees in Tourism and Management. Professor at ESACT- IPP, Bragança, in Licentiate degree in Tourism, and Master degree in Tourism Marketing. Research associate at CEPESE - Centre for the Study of Population, Economics and Society, University of Porto, in the Heritage, Culture and Tourism research group. Vice President in APTUR – Portuguese Association of Tourismology. Jury member in  International Tourism Film Festival – ART&TUR 2016. Responsible for the organization of the Luso-Lebanese Forum of Cities and Tourism in collaboration with the International Center for Lebanese Press. Her main studies and publications are based on themes of Tourism Destination Image, and the impact of induced image in the construction of tourism destination images. 

Alexandra Matos Pereira

Alexandra Matos Pereira holds a Diploma on Advanced Studies in Tourism, Leisure and Culture from University of Coimbra and is a PhD research student on the same course. She has a Master in Translation Studies from University of Porto and a Degree in French and English Modern Languages and Literatures from the same University. For more than 20 years she has been a director and has lectured English Translation, Consecutive Translation, Subtitling, Interpretation, English for Tourism and Hospitality, International Tourism and Rural Tourism in a private polytechnic institute, in Porto. She tutored internships in tourism, translation and interpretation and took part of dissertations’ defense juries. She has been a full member of the Organizing Committees of International Conferences on Tourism and on Translation, where she participated as reviewer, moderator and member of the Scientific Committees.
She is a Researcher at CEPESE (University of Porto) and Co-coordinator of its research group Heritage, Culture and Tourism. Her research interests are mainly centered on the Tour Guide role in the tourist experience: Portuguese case (PhD thesis) but also roots tourism, cultural touring, literary itineraries, tourist gaze, destination image, participatory democracy and children’ translation, having already published several papers on those areas. 
She is editorial board member of the Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Hugo Marcos

Degree in Tourism, Heritage and Local Development, Trainer in the areas of Tourism, Events and Spanish Language. Mirandese-born, headed early to Porto, studying Tourism and devoted to a professional career as an Event Planner, already developing informally in his homeland. Arrives at ART&TUR Festival in its first edition in 2008, taking over the role of the Secretariat and Logistics. In 2010, he takes on the Vice-presidency of APTUR. In 2014, he assumes the Executive Direction of ART&TUR, reaching general management, in partnership with Francisco Dias.
Has played roles as a jury member in several festivals: International Nature Tourism Film Festival - CINEXTUR (2012, Spain), Tourfilm Riga (2014 e 2015, Latvia), Zagreb Tourfilm Festival (Croatia, 2014), Deauville Green Awards (France, 2015), FILMAT – Film Art & Tourism Festival (Poland, 2015) and has represented the ART&TUR Festival in international fairs. Recently assumed the functions of Executive Director in the latest APTUR project, CINETROFA - International Festival of Cinema and Literature of Trofa. 
His communicative character and entrepreneurship are characteristics that mark his personality and allow to establish international contacts of high relevance to his functions in the in APTUR and its events.
